i have so many different things i could write about.... and more will be coming... but i thought you might like to hear a little of what i do in my free time!
a typical day in ggaba consists of...
7:00am... wake up, have breakfast and coffee
8:15am... take a boda to the school to teach the kindergarteners
10:30am... break for tea
11:00-12:30... finish teaching
internet time and home for lunch
in the afternoon i usually journal and stuff and then go help at the baby's home
at night...
last night [tuesday] a group from cornerstone in auburn was in town and they invited us to cafe roma [italian] for dinner. so good. [thank you dan and john for sending your hellos with them!]
tonight we have lifegroup with the other white people who live around. i think we are grilling out hotdogs and stuff. [don't worry, steve, i dont think they will compare to yours!]
tomorrow night we are going out for mexican and salsa dancing lessons!
i don't usually go out every single night... but it certainly helps me feel busy here and i love that i don't have to worry about craving foods from home!!
today is actually the last day the kindergarteners will be in school because they get out for 2 months. this is like their summer break. i will still finish out the week helping teachers grade the exams. next week i will help at the baby home and maybe go back to bethany.
